BERTS BRICKS (Potchefstroom) is a privately owned family business, producing Clay Stock and Facing Bricks. MOLOPO BRICKS (Mahikeng) was acquired in 1987 as a second factory producing Clay Stock and Facing Bricks. Our Cement Brick and Paving Plant was commissioned in 2010 at our premises in Potchefstroom. All our factories are well established, privately owned factories. BERTS BRICKS (Potchefstroom) is one of the single largest Clay and Cement brick factories in Southern Africa and manufactures a full range of Clay and Cement Stock, Facing and Paving products. MOLOPO BRICKS (Mahikeng) manufactures a full range of Clay Stock, Facing and Paving products. During the manufacturing process, delivery and after sales service the highest applicable standards for quality are maintained. Besides an inhouse laboratory we use an independent accredited laboratory, to ensure that the product meets with the required SABS standards and quality testing. By means of cost effective production methods, as well as our own transport infrastructure, BERTS BRICKS and MOLOPO BRICKS succeed in providing face, stock and paving bricks at competitive prices. Berts and Molopo Bricks are constantly involved in various adhoc community projects - with our main goal being to provide support and general upliftment to our local communities. We are also proud to mention that we have made a significant contribution to our local Childline in Potchefstroom. Should you however wish to have a more in depth look at our community involvement. We further strive to uplift our employees and surrounding local community by providing. Therefore you will use 17% more Cement bricks than Clay bricks to build the same area. Give us a good estimate of start of delivery and rate of take, and if possible place a provisional order, also including approximate quantities and type of brick. It is the contractor’s responsibility to prepare suitable access for trucks. Level your offloading point and clear out all rocks or rubble etc. Masonry units produced for structural or load-bearing purposes in face or non-face work, where the manufacturer supplies clay bricks to an agreed compressive strength.
